As a result of a wonderful meeting between Michel Firino Martell and the owner of Champagne J. De Telmont house Bertrand Lhopital, this Grande Cuvee selected by Michel Firino Martell is made exclusively with the best Grand Cru Chardonnay, coming more precisely from terroirs of exception in Champagne: Avize and Chouilly.

This unique blend gives us the freshness, the fruit and the elegance.

With a production of only 5,000 bottles numbered from 1 to 5,000, this Grande Cuvee is only made from an exceptional year.

« Selection of Michel Firino Martell » Grande Cuvee is an harmonious Champagne of finesse, delicacy and elegance that all connoisseurs would appreciate as an aperitif wine but also during a gastronomic meal.

THE VINTAGE

The year 2005 has been an exceptional year, more especially for the Chardonnays. Harvest period starts mid-September with perfect conditions.

Thanks to those optimal conditions, we have a fresh and net vintage, a product of a great Champagne year.

The vintage 2005 is often used as a reference and seems to be of an extraordinary quality which will only get better with age.

Single Malt Scotch Whisky

22 Y.O. SINGLE CASK -

SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY -1995

This SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY distilled in Tormore distillery in Speyside region of Scotland on June 15th, 1995, matured more than 22 years in Hogshead cask (typical 225-250 liters cask built from staves originally taken from bourbon barrels), Un-chillfiltered bottled at its natural strength in January 2018 in Scotland without any blending and any amendments.

My Single Malt Scotch Whisky produced with malted barley by Coffey Still.
Mainly matured in the Tormore distillery cellar, it was bottled at its natural strength naturally decreased to 55.2 alc./vol.

This M.F.M. single cask single malt Scotch whisky is very rare and on a limited edition of 297 bottles produced only

TASTING NOTES

Appearance - Gold amber reflects.
Nose - Oaken notes with scents of Vanilla breaking through and slightly creamy.
Palate - Amazing warmth, the sweetness of old caramel, light spices, and comfort notes of Speyside character.
Finish - Complexity, butterscotch, blond tobacco, a long aftertaste, and very moreish.

Single Malt Scotch Whisky

23 ANS D’ÂGE – UN SEUL FÛT - 1994

My SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY distilled in Braeval distillery in Speyside region of Scotland on 20th December 1994, matured more than 23 years in Bourbon Barrel (typical 200 liters cask made from Heaven Hill’s Distilleries in the United States), Un-chillfiltered bottled at its natural strength in August 2017 in Scotland without any blending and any amendments.

My Single Malt Scotch Whisky produced with malted barley by Coffey Still.
Mainly matured in the Braeval distillery cellar, it was bottled at its natural strength naturally decreased to 55.4 alc./vol.

This M.F.M. single cask single malt scotch whisky is very rare and on a limited edition of 304 bottles produced only!


23 Y.O. Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the witness of what the maturity gives to its length and complexity within subtlety and freshness, not to be missed... for those who can wait during the tasting as it will reveal the best of Speyside...

TASTING NOTES

Appearance - Gold amber reflects.
Nose - Warm oak with a hint of spice carried with toffee and vanilla.
Palate - Smooth, Sweet, and indulgent chocolate notes with a hint of Tarte Tatin.
Finish - Ginger Bread, dried fruit, licorice with intense complexity and a long aftertaste.

23 Y.O. SINGLE CASK WHISKY - 1992

Selected by Michel Firino Martell a few years ago and aged in the cellars of Michel Couvreur house, this single cask grain vintage is unique and limited.

It was distilled on the 12th March 1992 in Scotland, matured more than 23 years in a hogshead cask (typical 240 liters cask made with Bourbon staves) in order to keep its fresh grain flavors.

The bottling was made the last week of June 2015 into 398 numbered fragrance exclusive bottles from 1 to 398, without any blending and any amendments.

This 23 years old Single Cask Grain of 1992 produced with both un-malted barley and corn by Coffey Still.

Mainly matured in the Michel Couvreur humid cellar, its natural strength has naturally decreased to 48% alc./vol.. A droplet of water helps to reach 47% alc./vol.

This M.F.M. whisky vintage 1992 is for amateurs and for connoisseurs who have time to enjoy life and unforgettable spirits.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance - Golden tint, amber reflects.
Nose - Lightly vanilla flavors remind old Rums. Subtlety woody, it appears very round and smooth.

The mouth - is mellow. First flavors are felt closed, leaving a nice silky texture and a honey impression.
The complexity and amazing proof appear slowly aftertaste. Delicate but intense finale offers an extremely long vanilla aroma.

Single Malt

SELECTION BY MICHEL FIRINO MARTELL

As a result of a wonderful meeting between Michel Firino Martell and the owner of Michel Couvreur Whisky house “Michel Couvreur” himself, this single malt vintage is unique and limited.
It was distilled the 11th March 1998 in Scotland and matured in a young Sherry (Oloroso) impregnated oak cask.

This rare whisky is un- chillfiltered and coming at its strength of 46% Alc/Vol.

At 15 years old, it’s selected by MICHEL FIRINO MARTELL who will purpose 440 numbered into exclusive flask bottles from 1 to 440.

 

TASTING NOTES

• It is a very floral and delicate nose reminding a young Oloroso Sherry.

• A pint of citrus aroma lets suggest length and freshness.

• Subtle woody structure conveys a nice length.

• Beginning by complex tastes: mellow and round firstly, they are followed by a tinge of bitter and

finish by sweet spicy aromas reminding the toasted grain of coffee and a light hint of blond tobacco.

• Tasting heart is slightly roasted reminding a floral and delicate coffee.

• An extremely intense and complex length with a tinge of wood.

• Beneath appearance of suave, its intensity is enhanced by a vivid style.

• Help by a fine length, this Single Malt Whisky is felt very complex and offers an elegant souvenir.

Bas Armagnac 1972

M.F.M. BAS ARMAGNAC -

VINTAGE 1972

Selected by Michel Firino Martell a few years ago and aged in the cellars of Gélas house, this cuvée in a limited edition of 47 years old is made

exclusively of a very fine Ugni Blanc and intense Baco of vintage 1972, coming more precisely from the best terroir of exception in Armagnac: Bas-Armagnac.

Ugni Blanc is a variety of grape of excellence in the Gers county and also known in Charente county and very used by Cognac producers because after distillation the “eaux-de-vie” are fine and top quality.

Baco Blanc or Baco 22A is a French-American hybrid grape variety. It is a cross of Folle Blanche and the Noah grape, created in 1898 by the grape breeder François Baco. The “eaux-de-vie” after long aging in humid cellars is great finesse and extreme complexity.

The bottling was done during the month of November 2019. With a production of bottles only numbered from 1 to 464, this unique single cask number 542 of 1972 « Michel Firino Martell » aged in the same barrel, un-chillfiltered, gives us an exceptional Armagnac of great

roundness, a superb finesse, amazing smoothness, and full body.

This M.F.M. Bas-Armagnac vintage 1972 is for great amateurs of spirits who want to enjoy a good after-dinner drink or for some who wish to pair it during a long gastronomic meal or with an excellent Cuban cigar.

TASTING NOTES

 

Appearance - Dark gold.

Nose - Round, licorice, woody, dried fruit, and orange peel.

In the mouth - Dark Chocolate, creamy, smooth. An aromatic persistence on cigar box notes, cacao, coffee, old caramel, and a finish of great finesse and complexity.

Empty Glass -  Presence of exotic fruits and spices.

Bas Armagnac 1982

M.F.M. BAS ARMAGNAC -

VINTAGE 1982

Selected by Michel Firino Martell a few years ago and aged in the cellars of Gélas house, this cuvée in a limited edition of 33 years old is made exclusively of a very fine and best Ugni Blanc of this vintage, coming more precisely from the best terroir of exception in Armagnac: Bas-Armagnac.

Ugni Blanc is a variety of grape of excellence in the Gers county and also known in Charente county and very used by Cognac producers because after distillation the « eaux-de-vie » are fine and top quality.

The bottling was done during the month of July 2015.

With a production of 998 bottles only numbered from 1 to 998, this limited two unique single casks of 1982 « Michel Firino Martell » aged in the same barrels, un-chillfiltered and give us an exceptional Armagnac of enormous finesse, well-balanced and very rare.

This M.F.M. Bas-Armagnac vintage 1982 is for amateurs of spirits who want to enjoy a good after-dinner drink or for some who wish to pair it during a long gastronomic meal.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance - Amber with reflections mahogany tree.

Nose - Exotic fruit notes (litchi), bitter orange, and wood of dry oak.

In the mouth - Round attack on a spice pallet complexes, grooves, curry, and saffron. An aromatic persistence on fume notes, licorice, cacao, gingerbread, and a finish of great harmony.

Empty Glass - Presence of exotic fruits and spices.

 

This M.F.M. Bas Armagnac: is rare and on a limited edition (998bts produced and bottled the first week of July 2015) and will enthusiast any connoisseurs of great brown spirits.

BAS ARMAGNAC 1995- 100% FOLLE BLANCHE -

48.5 % Alc. UN-CHILLFILTERED

Origin : Château de Martet Sauboires-(Pierre Gélas property)- Soils : Sand « Fauves and Boulbenes »

As a result of a wonderful meeting between Michel Firino Martell and the owner of Armagnac house Gélas Philippe Gélas, this single cask is made exclusively with a very fine and elegant Folle Blanche of 18 years old, coming more precisely from the best terroir of exception in Armagnac : Bas-Armagnac.

Folle Blanche represents only 1% of entire vineyards of Armagnac so it is very unique.

With a production of 498 bottles only numbered from 1 to 498, this limited single cask of 1995 « Selection by Michel Firino Martell » aged in the same barrel and unchill-filtered is a very elegant Armagnac of the rare finesse that all connoisseurs would appreciate during a gastronomic meal or as an after dinner-drink accompanied with a nice cigar.

TASTING NOTES

Amber color with green highlights, bright and limpid

The nose is very elegant with aromas of spices and stewed prunes

The mouth is clean and well balanced with dried flowers and cooked prunes leaves on formidable

length on the palate

A very long finish with notes of roasted coffee, spices and tobacco
